Riskilä ja sen esiintyminen Suomen Lapissa

Black guillemot (Cepphus grylle) has occurred regularly throughout Gulf of Bothnia, including the bottom of the Gulf (inside Finnish Laplands). In the 1900's the Lapland population gradually decreased from several tens into minimum of 3 pairs in 1983. Largely due to establishment of Perameri National Park the threatening extinction was avoided and the nesting population has returned in 2000's to about 10 pairs per annum.
